Compared to traditional tape backup systems, our SecureData managed backup service will lower the impact on your operating infrastructure. Using a patented process called commonality factoring, SecureData will only transfer new or modified data from your infrastructure to our redundant disk arrays. Data is then compared to previous backups and a complete backup image of your protected data is made each and every time a backup is run. The advantage of commonality factoring is that it eliminates the need to manage full and incremental backup strategies!

Data393 can provide a replication target Avamar system at our secure SAS 70 Type II data center facility in Denver, Colorado. SecureData Vault utilizes your existing Internet connection to replicate the data to our facility, with an optional site-to-site VPN for added security.

In the event of a disaster at your site, restores can immediately be performed directly from the replication target system without the need to rebuild your Avamar system first.
